The 234teen Hub · Waltham Abbey

Skills grow here.
Technology lives longer.

Our Hub premises at Forest Lodge bring together community-focused training and the aim of giving technology a longer useful life. Customer data is dealt with first, at the customer’s premises, before any cleared equipment can come to the Hub.

Two connected activities

Repair skills and responsible reuse.

01 / Refurbishment

Assess. Repair. Reuse.

After verified on-site clearance and authorised release, suitable equipment can be assessed at the Hub for refurbishment and a longer useful life. Items that cannot be reused follow an appropriate recycling route.

02 / Education

Learn by doing.

The Hub will support practical education in electronics, diagnostics and repair. We will share more about the learning programme, access and opportunities as those details are agreed.

A clear boundary

On-site clearance comes first.

Data-bearing customer equipment stays at the customer site until the approved destruction or sanitisation process has succeeded, the evidence matches the asset, and release is authorised.

The Hub receives only equipment that has met that release rule. A failed or inconclusive item remains with the customer.
