We select the on-site method for the media and record the result before data-bearing equipment can leave your premises.
Magnetic media
The @RACK Step 3A degausser is used for supported magnetic media. A hard drive that cannot be wiped is degaussed and then crushed on site.
Electronic erasure
Blackbelt360 processes supported phones, tablets and NVMe devices on site, with a verified result.
After clearance
Only cleared assets move to the next stage: refurbishment, reuse or responsible recycling as appropriate.
Our process
A certificate before release.
Destruction takes place on the customer site. The equipment generates a certificate; an authorised operator checks the result and records the decision to release. If the process fails or cannot be verified, the affected equipment remains on site.
